Yosef Peretz has over 14 years of litigation experience and has represented clients in trials, bench trials, settlement negotiations and mediation, dispute resolution, civil trial practice, class action cases and administrative hearings. Mr. Peretz prides himself on his assertive advocacy, attention to details and uncompromising ethics. Mr. Peretz’ trial and settlement experience includes the successful representation of clients in wrongful termination and employment discrimination cases, class actions for wage and hour violations, tenants in wrongful eviction lawsuits, business disputes and real estate fraud actions.
Mr. Peretz has been honored as the Volunteer Attorney of the Year by the AIDS Legal Referral Panel which is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization that supports people living with HIV/AIDS. He has also been praised by the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco for his exceptional work in cases for unprivileged clients.
Mr. Peretz obtained a law degree in 1996 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem School of Law, the top law school in Israel. He is licensed to practice law in both California (2000) and Israel (1997). He is a member of the State Bar of California, California Employment Lawyers Association, San Francisco Tenant Bar, and the Bar Association of San Francisco. Mr. Peretz is qualified to represent clients in state courts and various federal district courts.
